Finalist for Summer 2012 International Film Contest in Drama
A unique, multi award winning Scottish drama, Mum’s Birthday’s story was drawn from the troubled lives of disaffected youths and the haunting life experiences of writer\director and Screen Academy Scotland graduate Graham Fitzpatrick.
Featuring first time performing young people living in Edinburgh’s residential care homes, this poignant, time slicing drama centres on newly single parent Alex who must tackle heartbreak to save the relationship with son Stephen on his wife’s birthday, or risk losing the one thing in life that’s still good.
