Jeremy Mayhew (Film Skillet Producer) - Chilmark Massachusetts USA
Industry Role:
Jeremy Mayhew is an artist and filmmaker specializing in motion design, animation and cinematography.
Jeremy's fascination with moving images began when his father—a commercial swordfish harpooner—had him document their voyages 200 miles offshore. When the camcorder batteries ran out and the captain didn't have him washing dishes, his time was spent drawing or pondering the grandeur of the sea and it's mysterious leviathans.
After graduating with a BFA in Film & Video from The University of The Arts in Philadelphia, Jeremy released the award winning feature documentary "Striker's Passing," as homage to his fishing ancestry.
He has worked on productions for Redken, PBS, HGTV, The History Channel, The Electric Company, Galen Films, The Silver Screen Society, The Martha's Vineyard Film Festival and on various independent films, corporate videos and music videos.
Jeremy is currently working as a freelance motion designer, cinematographer and graphics artist. He continues to create independent films, music, and visually-arresting imagery from his home on Martha's Vineyard Island.
